Why did I fail my identity verification?

We are required by “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations to verify your identity before you can complete your first investment. It is important that you enter your information in the app exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID to ensure seamless verification. Oftentimes, failure to verify your identity is the result of a typo when you enter your personal information. 

If you fail your identity verification, you will be prompted to upload a government issued ID, and we may request additional information to help us ensure that your information is correct (for example, a Form W-9 to verify your SSN).
